The trek took place 13 to 18 August 2007 with flights from oven Coazze, in val Sangone.
The first day in a muffled by the fog, the group accompanied by Park Guide tackled the climb to altitude and then taking refuge Balma and leaving behind the heat of the plains. At the end of the ascent, after about three hours, the shelter Balma: the evening got a great view of the plains and the lights did suggest that the next day was full of good weather.
At 8.00 am the next morning the group was preparing to leave for the collar of Robinet. The clear sky and fresh air in the morning refreshed, allowing our minds to reach in just over 2 hours on the hill, from where it was not difficult to climb Robinet where a dozen mountain goats grazed peacefully.
Photos of ritual and then again on the march, going down in the valley of the refuge Selleries Chisone at a time.
The third stage has given an unexpected encounter: on the slope of the hill Sabbione you could see the flock of Fulvio. Goats, sheep with lambs in tow, guard dogs provided by the Park to the shepherds: a river that climbed up the slopes of the mountain towards the hill Malanotte.
time a quick meal and then was broken down to this time in the Susa valley and reach the third refuge: the Toesca.
the morning, a look at the sky did not promise clear skies the day before, then the tough climb to reach a privileged port du Chiot has a soft descent to the hut Amprimo the day and offered moments of pure rest to the weary group of 3-day walk and almost 2000 meters of altitude difference.
stage nice and fresh, the fourth day saw the group walking in the light the shade of trees along the path of the Franks. The Charterhouse of Mount Benedict is the intermediate step of the way daily: visit the ancient monastery, lunch and departure for the Valgravio shelter, where they would pass on the last night.
Last day of tour: long laburnum walk through the woods near the Alpe Piansignore and then gradually rose reaching Alpe di Fumavecchia. From here the ascent became steeper putting a strain on the legs, tired of walking for days to reach Pian Bear.
