We were then to visit this place very strordinario folk and traditional Indian style, and once finished our tour, we went back to resume our scooter. I remembered where I had parked quite accurately, but there was no more. I had not ever happened to not find the scooter, but in Mysore I've never heard of someone who had stolen ... but I had heard of many that the police had confiscated because they parked in a non-permissible area, ie outside the lines that indicate the space allowed for parking. And this was what I had done. The funny thing however is that the road there is a rule of the road which is respected. Overtake in continuous line, against traffic, bike helmet in the new rule that is followed by 0.1% of drivers (you can see Dad with his helmet behind with his wife sitting with both legs to one side because of the sari-clad Indian women- with two children in their midst, both without helmet), piracy in the way of all kinds, passing red lights, which alert you ordered to stop and some that are, in short, a jungle, but woe to park the scooter out of the line. I was really enjoyed this, Francesca beginning a bit 'less, because of course he thought the seriousness of the condition of bringing a similar case in Italy. So I asked where to bring the scooters when they take to the road and we made a rishi accompany there. Once there, a policeman asks us "... what do you want?" ("... Do you want? "). It was a bit 'serious, but when we asked the scooter he smiled and asked us if vedavamo among those who were there. At the time I was a bit 'worried because there was not, but then another policeman laughingly says "... it is coming in 20 minutes, Have a sit and wait" ("... will be here in 20 minutes, sit down well and wait "). We were incredulous, we had reached the police station where he would lead the first scooter scooter ... we laughed himself to death, and the police who saw us laughing, too. Meanwhile, other unfortunate as we had arrived to recover the vehicle before the half was coming and they had queued to wait before the first police officer who asked us what we wanted and was ready to be there to pay the fines for violations made once the vehicles had arrived. After about 10 minutes here on the truck with 5 or 6 scooter fun and happy and as many Indians who had taken the scooter in the street. We saw our second half and the first policeman laughed, he asked us, always smiling, if there was, rocking and nodding their head in the typical gesture (who was in india knows what I'm talking about) told us to go by his colleague ready to block fines to settle the matter. There were already other Indians in the queue, but as we approached, they made us go first, I did not understand why, and there began the second half, before his blochetto the policeman began: "... your name? " - "Elena". I begin to spell him in English and he writes in Kannada, which is the local language, with letters that appear hieroglyphics all round but very beautiful, and already there were too amused. Then he asks me my license and I reply that I had forgotten at home. He nods and asks me if I had at least one telephone, and here the response was positive, so I gave him my number in India and it went well. Then he asked me the address of where I was, but I did not know and he asked if I knew at least postponed the air of the city where I live, and there I could not answer. Then he asked me the plate of the scooter that I promptly read by the same scooter, (actually I could read the license plate of another scooter, it would go just as well). They do not have any control in any way if it was really my scooter, I was told "... a fine of 300 rupees," I did sign, I paid and with big smiles and pleasantries, we resumed scooter and we left. They were amused us more than them and this show has cost us less than 6 € 2 hours ... I assure you that the cinema to see a beautiful and funny comedy is nothing compared all'oretta passed through our misadventure. Of course, a fine of 250 rupees and the payment for the transport of 50 rupees will save you a long time, because even looking at these two pieces of paper, you can only laugh. Also this is India, in its genuineness, purity and spontaneity, which sometimes happens that no one makes you feel bad if you did something wrong, but they are able to smile for this especially if there's really nothing serious, as parking space outside the line granted. The lightness of this was wonderful, and an episode as compared to a 'same situation in Italy, made us a bit' creepy to the heaviness that some things manage to get to our house.
This was a nice thing to tell and I hope you enjoyed. Some episodes however they have been less, but this will tell you in the next post. Mysore
